About Mirai BTC

Our Mission

Mirai BTC is a non-custodial prediction market platform focused on Bitcoin's future upgrades. Our mission is to create a platform where users can express their views on the future of Bitcoin technology while maintaining full control of their funds through Lightning Network payments.

Mirai (未来) means "future" in Japanese, reflecting our focus on forecasting Bitcoin's evolution.

Current Markets

We currently offer prediction markets on three important Bitcoin soft-fork proposals:

OP_CAT

OP_CAT is a proposed opcode that concatenates two values on the stack, enabling advanced transaction introspection and covenants.

OP_CTV (CheckTemplateVerify)

CheckTemplateVerify (CTV) is a proposed opcode that allows setting conditions on how bitcoins can be spent in the future, enabling vaults and other secure spending conditions.

OP_CSFS (CheckSigFromStack)

CheckSigFromStack (CSFS) is a proposed opcode that allows checking signatures against data from the stack rather than from the transaction, enabling complex covenants and smart contracts.

How We Work

Mirai BTC offers binary prediction markets with fixed-odds payouts. Users connect their Lightning wallets to place bets on the outcome of Bitcoin upgrade proposals. All transactions happen on the Lightning Network, ensuring fast, low-fee transactions while keeping users in control of their funds.

Market outcomes are determined based on whether the proposals have been activated in the Bitcoin protocol by the specified deadline.
